Why do I see a $1.00 charge on my credit card statement?

When a request is placed, we send a $0 authorization to your bank to verify that your card is valid.   If the $0 authorization is not supported by your bank, then we’ll attempt a $1 authorization.
The important thing to remember is that this is not a charge.  We reverse this authorization immediately and it will disappear from your statement in anywhere from a few minutes to a few weeks (depending on the bank).

You are never charged unless your request for tickets is selected.
