Types of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) we collect
- First Name is collected in the web form in order to personalize messages and alerts. The data is stored in a Heroku database and disposed upon request.
- Last Name is collected in the web form in order to personalize messages and alerts. The data is stored in a Heroku database and disposed upon request.
- Email Address is collected in the web form in order to deliver messages such as confirmations, receipts, digital ticket files, and event updates. The data is stored in a Heroku database, processed through Postmark, and disposed upon request.
- Phone Number is collected in the web form in order to confirm a user’s identity and send text message alerts including confirmations, receipts, and event updates. The data is stored in a Heroku database, processed through Twilio, and disposed upon request.
- IP Address is passively collected in order to determine your location, personalize event recommendations, and detect potential fraud. The data is stored in a Heroku database and disposed upon request.
- Mailing Address is collected in the web form in order to fulfill orders of physical products. The data is stored in a Heroku database and disposed upon request.
- Credit Card Number is collected in the web form in order to make a purchase on Seated. The data is stored by the third-party, Stripe, and is disposed upon request. Note: Seated never has access to view your full credit card number or security code. Seated only has access to view the card type, expiration date, and last 4 digits of your card.

Event Partner obligations around data collected via Seated
If you are an Event Partner that uses Seated to collect Personally Identifiable Information from customers who opt-in to receive marketing updates, via form submission or other methods, then you are solely responsible for its disposition.
