Note: In order to set up this integration, you must be designated as the data owner on your Seated account. Please reach out to [email protected] if you want to request this designation.
Steps
Get your Seated Artist ID
Log into your Seated dashboard here and select your profile.
Make sure you’re in the “Events” tab. Once there, locate the URL in your address bar—it should be in the format https://tours.seated.com/artists/[artistid], where [artistid] is a unique 32 character code
Copy the [artistid] portion of the URL to obtain your Seated Artist ID.
Create your Seated integration on Hive
Log into Hive and select "Integrations."
Scroll to the "Seated connection card and input your Seated Artist ID.
Copy the URL that gets generated—you'll use this to set up your webhook on Seated.
Webhook #1: Send email addresses collected on Seated into Hive
Log into your Seated dashboard here, select your profile, and navigate to the “Integrations” tab.
Scroll down to the “Available Integrations” section to find the option for "Webhook." Click “Create.”
Under "URL," paste the URL generated by Hive which will be in the format:
https://webhooks.hive.co/seated/[webhook-id]
Leave "Header" and "Header Value" blank.
Do not edit the "Payload" section. Leave the default values intact.
Click "Test Webhook." You should see a green message that says "Webhook test successful."
Click "Continue."
Name your webhook "Hive Email Integration," or something similar.
Under "Triggers," make sure "Email Opt-in" is checked.
Click "Save Webhook."
Webhook #2: Send phone numbers collected on Seated into Hive
Log into your Seated dashboard here, select your profile, and navigate to the “Integrations” tab.
Scroll down to the “Available Integrations” section to find the option for "Webhook." Click “Create.”
Under "URL," paste the URL generated by Hive which will be in the format:
https://webhooks.hive.co/seated/[webhook-id]
Leave "Header" and "Header Value" blank.
Do not edit the "Payload" section. Leave the default values intact.
Click "Test Webhook." You should see a green message that says "Webhook test successful."
Click "Continue."
Name your webhook "Hive Phone Integration," or something similar.
Under "Triggers," make sure "Phone Opt-in" is checked.
Click "Save Webhook."
Add email compliance language
Navigate to the "Integrations" tab within your dashboard.
Under "Your Integrations," find "Email Opt-In" and click the "Edit" button.
In the "Opt-In Language" box, paste the following:
By providing your email, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing emails (e.g. event reminders) from this artist.
Check the box that says "I confirm the opt-in language changes above."
Scroll to the bottom and click "Save Opt-In"
Add phone compliance language
Navigate to the "Integrations" tab within your dashboard.
Under "Your Integrations," find "Phone Opt-In" and click the "Edit" button.
In the "Opt-In Language" box, paste the following:
By providing your phone number, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages (e.g. event reminders) from this artist. Consent is not a condition to obtain goods or services. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency varies. Reply HELP for help and STOP to cancel.
Check the box that says "I confirm the opt-in language changes above."
Scroll to the bottom and click "Save Opt-In"
That's it! Once both webhooks are in place, any new opted-in emails and phone numbers that you collect on Seated will start flowing into Hive automatically.
