A presale registration campaign with Seated is a great way to promote your upcoming tour dates, gauge demand for different markets, and drive more ticket sales—all while collecting fan data.
All presale registration campaigns are run in partnership with Seated’s artist partnerships and campaign management teams. If you’d like to set one up, please follow the instructions below.
Steps
If you haven’t done so already, claim your profile on Seated and add your event listings to your website and to your link-in-bio.
Gather relevant information about your upcoming presale, including:
your announce date
your presale start date
your presale end date
your general onsale date
the password you’re using for your Seated presale
your routing, as a .csv file
ticket links (if available)
VIP package links (if applicable)
the names of any other acts who will be supporting you on your tour (if applicable)
Send an email to [email protected] containing the above information. Make the subject of your email “[YOUR NAME] - Presale Registration Campaign.”
Note: Please reach out to Seated at least 5 business days before your announce date so that our team has enough lead time to configure your presale registration campaign.
A member of Seated’s team will confirm the details you provided and configure your presale registration campaign for you. This includes:
uploading all of your events to your Seated profile and scheduling them to go live on your announce date
adding all relevant links to each event, including your Seated presale link, any other relevant presale links, your general onsale link, and any VIP packages you’re promoting
coordinating with you to configure relevant data integrations so that your Seated data automatically syncs with your CRM
scheduling SMS and email reminder alerts to send out to all registered fans approximately 15 minutes before your Seated presale starts
Your campaign is ready to go! On announce day, make sure to tell your fans to visit your website or your link-in-bio to sign up for your presale.
What Your Fans Will See
Once your campaign has been configured, here’s what you can expect your fans to experience:
Fans will visit your website or your link-in-bio and find a “Sign Up” call-to-action next to all tour dates on which you’re running your Seated presale.
Upon clicking “Sign Up” on the show they’d like to attend, the fan will be asked to provide their name, email address, phone number, and postal code.
After submitting their info, the fan will receive both a text message and an email from Seated confirming that they’ve successfully registered for your presale.
Approximately 15 minutes before your Seated presale starts, fans will receive both a text message and an email from Seated containing the password they’ll need to access the presale, as well as a link to where they can purchase tickets.
