Every bit of fan data you collect on Seated from a waitlist, a presale registration campaign, or a direct ticketing campaign is fully owned by you—and that means you can export it at any time.
Note: In order to export your fan data, you must be designated as the data owner on your Seated account. Please reach out to [email protected] if you want to request this designation.
Steps
Log into your Seated dashboard here, select your profile, and navigate to the “Insights” tab.
Click on “Export Data” in the top right corner.
You’ll be asked to confirm that you’re actually allowed to export this fan data and that you won’t use it in an unlawful way by checking several boxes.
Once you’ve checked all of the boxes, click “Agree & Export.”
You’ll receive an email from Seated containing a “Download Export” button. Click it to return to your Seated dashboard.
Once back in the dashboard, you’ll be told that your .csv file is ready to download. Click on the “Download CSV Export” button to begin your fan data export.
When your download completes, you’ll find a zip file that contains two different sets of data: email opt-ins and phone opt-ins. This data is now fully yours to use in whatever compliant way you see fit!
